Diesel Generators Diesel Generators provide relatively low cost electricity with less maintenance and less fuel consumption compared to gas systems. Waste heat from the engine can be used for water or space heating. The long life low speed 1800 rpm engines are made in China. Engines are direct inject 3 or 4 cylinder. The European made low maintenance, direct coupled, brushless, alternators are 120/240 volt AC single phase, 60 Hz. Automatic safety shutdowns for low oil pressure, high temperature and low water level. The Synchro Start solenoid valve for a mechanical engine shutdown provides instant starts and stops. It eliminates slow, inadequate shutdown and injection pump wear from fuel valves. Radiator, engine and alternator are mounted on a sturdy skid frame. Instrument panel with meters for the Hours Run Time, Oil Pressure, Water Temperature and DC amp Meter (for starting battery charging). Key switch with 1 minute time delay. Fuel consumption is about 1/4 to 1/2 gallon per hour for 12 KW model. Engine overhaul is normally 12,000+ hours. Includes Battery Cables, Muffler. 2 year/2000 hour warranty.
