The super insulated SunDanzer chest units have 4.3 inches thick polyurethane insulation. Outside cabinet is powdered coated galvanized steel, inside is easy to clean aluminum with drain hole, dual voltage compressor uses brushless motor. Includes baskets to help organize food storage. Baskets can be located on bottom or hung from top edge. Manual defrost.
Interior dimensions: 1.8 cu. ft. models are 17.625"wide 13" deep 12.75" high.
5.6 and 7.9 cu ft models are 16" wide front to back, 25" deep and both have a shallow space above the compressor on the right side of 14" deep and 8" long. The overall length is 28" for 5.6 cu. ft. and 38" for 7.9 cu. ft. model.

Input voltage: 10.4-17 or 22.8-31 volts DC.

Refrigerator temperature range is 30-48 degrees. Freezer range is 0-23 degrees. Ambient temperature range is 50-110 degrees. Use 15 amp fuse/breaker for 12 volt and 7.5 amp fuse/breaker for 24 volt.

To reduce condensation in the bottom of refrigerators, keep produce in plastic bags or containers.

Divide daily watt-hours by system voltage of 12 or 24 volts to determine daily amp hours used. This is useful to determine how many solar panels will be needed to power these units. A single 75 watt solar panel (and 12 volt battery) will power the refrigerator unit in many areas.

120 volt AC Option for 1.8, 5.6 and 7.9 cu. ft. models. Versatile, allows units to operate on 12 and 24 volt DC or on 120 volt AC. No DC power is needed when running on AC, so it can be used with or without DC backup. The DC backup is useful during an AC power failure. A battery is necessary for DC backup. SunDanzer Energy Usage in Daily Watt Hours or Daily Amp Hours on 12 volts at various room temperatures and freezer at 10 degrees. Amp Hours on a 24 volt system will be half these values.
